一、名词变复数规则

（1）一般情况下直接+S：

desk----desks book----books pet---pets key----keys

（2）以s,x,ch,sh等结尾的词+es

bus --- buses box----boxes watch-----watches dish ----dishes

（3）以“y”结尾的词，有两种：以辅音字母+y,变y为i,再加es

Family---families city---- cities party---parties

以元音字母+y，直接+S

Key---keys boy---boys monkey---monkeys

（4）以O结尾的词，有些+es

tomato---tomatoes potato----potatoes hero----heroes

【注】初中英语以o结尾的名词后加词尾-S的有zoo、photo、piano

（5）以f或fe结尾的词，一般变f或fe为ves

Life---lives wife---wives leaf--leaves

二、单数与复数同行的名词

Sheep fish deer Chinese

三、不规则的名词复数

Man----men woman---women child--children foot---feet tooth---teeth mouse--mice
